Carlos Garcia-Prieto, MD
Dr. Carlos Garcia-Prieto is a bilingual expert in the behavioral healthcare industry, with more than 23 years of experience and specialities working with children, adolescents, the elderly, and those with developmental disabilities.
Dr. Garcia-Prieto earned his Doctorate at the Evangelic University of El Salvador, and completed his residency in psychiatry at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center, a Cornell affiliate hospital. He was elected resident of the year, chief resident, and received a commendation from FEMA for his post 9/11 work. Dr. Garcia-Prieto completed his fellowship in Consultation Liason Psychiatry at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the West Roxbury Veteran Affairs Hospital, both Harvard affiliates. Among other esteemed positions of leadership, Dr. Garcia-Prieto served as the Medical Director of both the Florida Hospital Heartland Division and Winter Haven Hospital.
