Vaping refers to inhaling heated liquid. It involves the use of an e-cigarette, which is a battery-powered device. E-cigarettes come in many different shapes and sizes. While some look like traditional cigarettes, others look like USB ports, pens and other items.
Teen vaping has become increasingly common with almost 18% of 8th graders, more than 32% of 10th graders and over 37% of 12th graders vaping in the past year. Many teens don’t realize the dangers of vaping which can include addiction, harm to brain development, cancer, exposure to toxins and exploding e-cigarette devices.
